Quarterback, Congressman—and Now a Convict

I have been called anti-government, anti-Republican, anti-Democrat, anti-Semitic and bigot—just a few of my labels. My politics are anti-big government, anti-IRS, anti-foreign lobbies, anti-socialism and anti-Communism. Truth is, my politics are simply pro-American—period.

Any issue, regardless of the hype or emotions, that is not in the best interest of America, I oppose. I believe in and support the Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Any manipulation of our constitutional mandate is a cardinal sin to me.

I guess I’m old fashioned—in fact I believe that all those new world order politicians are so dumb and misdirected that if they fell out of bed, they’d miss the floor.

I believe this new world order has bankrupted our great nation. We’re bankrupt and the Congress is nothing more than a bunch of trustees presiding over the biggest chapter 11 proceeding in world history.

I don’t know about you but I’m fed up, I’ve had it. I’m sick of gutless politicians who are afraid to do what’s right; afraid to do what’s needed—who follow misdirected policies like lemmings, who have our young men and women engaged in foreign wars of little or no interest to the U.S.A. These same young brave Americans are now being shipped back home in body bags. Distraught, grieving parents receive their bodies while they themselves are losing their jobs and pensions. America is in grave danger, and no one seems to believe it.

The major reason for the average American to be so passive and inactive is quite simple—the mainstream media of the U.S.A. distorts the truth—withholds the truth—and in many instances is controlled and influenced by foreign entities. I even question the loyalties and politics of some of their owners and publishers.

I read the mainstream print medium with much skepticism. Quite frankly, I don’t trust the major newspapers. I do not believe their propaganda. It should be of no surprise to know of my support for AMERICAN FREE PRESS, even though I may disagree with the AFP on some issues. The AFP reports the truth—the unvarnished truth, regardless of the pressures that are brought to bear against them, and there are many.

America needs to be informed—needs to hear and read the whole story, the truth, the facts and the dynamics of political action that secure and protect our freedom. Having said that, I encourage you to subscribe to AFP and read my weekly column. I plan to address the influence and power of AIPAC and its control over our very lives. The reason to abolish the Federal Reserve system; the reason to abolish our Communist progressive income tax; the absolute need to repeal the 16th Amendment to the Constitution; and my proposals to save and create jobs; to stop the hemorrhaging of our federal debt, to reverse our massive trade deficit and stop illegal immigration.

I will also address the issue of John Demjanjuk, who is not being just prosecuted - Demjanjuk and his family are being persecuted, and no one in Washington will help. I plan to help him and will testify in Germany about the crimes in the Justice Department if subpoenaed.

Opponents of mine will snicker and laugh. I predict that. I expect that. But, remember, these are the same nincompoops that have almost destroyed our great republic.

You deserve to hear an opposing view. An American’s view, which happens to be my view. I plan to deliver these views and information.

I ask of you to participate in this struggle to reverse the downward spiral of our great republic. I want you to send me your ideas and suggestions. I believe that America can be saved and, contrary to the propaganda we get out of Washington, this is not brain surgery nor rocket science. In fact, it’s plain old-fashioned common sense, something that is lacking in our nation’s capital.

I charge you with one other task; contact your friends, relatives, co-workers and associates to subscribe to AFP so that our words, ideas and proposals become known by a growing numbers of American citizens.

Taylor Swift’s Swastika Scandal Last weekend, Katy Perry rang in her 25th birthday with a party wherein celebrities showed up donning white and chucked paint on one another. Which, as far as parties where colorful staining occurs, is probably better than inviting a throng of your closest friends over, accidentally spilling wine all over their finery, and then spending the better part of the next day convincing them that it was a paint party. But Katy Perry's party also sets the stage for a Taylor Swift backlash. Tragic that! Especially considering just how just yesterday, we were remarking on how her unique take on smizing is an approach more beleaguered starlets could replicate in order to save their careers. But after her career sinks, there will always be a place for Swift in Dollywood, serving up chicken nuggets, root beer floats, and singing a Fine Young Cannibals covers.

We’re getting ahead of ourselves though! You see, Swift, who we love best as a victim and not as a woman who can probably hold her liquor and turn some heads with a mean shimmy, was seen cavorting—nay, dancing!—next to a man with a red swastika plastered across his white t-shirt. Quick recap, then: booze, busting moves, proximity to jerk with lack of discretion! Yes, it’s backlash season for Swift now.

Sure, Swift isn’t swastika-clad herself. But as a celebrity whose star is sparkling especially brightly following some incident that we’ve long forgotten that left her looking a lot like those wounded kittens on those Sarah McLachlan-ASPCA commercials, any measure of swastika-proximity is not advisable. Sure, her friend could’ve been douchily paying trendy tribute to any number of Eastern religions. Or maybe he saw the design on a Pokémon trading card and sought to re-create it. But it’s just as likely that this particular party-goer and maybe-friend of Taylor Swift’s is a neo-Nazi.

But this isn’t to say that she’s a strident racist. It’s to say that given pictures from that night, we can forge our own narratives and conclusions and lead to her demise, because celebrities rarely go on the record about such events. Swift probably should’ve paid more attention to wherever she was doing the electric slide and what jerks were within her vicinity. Because given her said swastika-proximity and the rapidly-diminishing common sense of a perpetually unnerved nation, Swift’s fall-out could be non-existent to life-shattering.

A British bishop has been fined €12,000 after a German court found him guilty of denying the Holocaust.

Richard Williamson received a letter today from the court in the Bavarian city of Regensburg informing him that he was being fined for incitement over his claim on Swedish television that fewer than 300,000 Jews died in Nazi death camps.

In the interview, Williamson alleged that Nazi gas chambers had never existed and "only 200,000 to 300,000 Jews" had been killed by the Nazis.

Holocaust denial is classed as a hate crime in Germany and because the interview took place in Regensburg, German prosecutors were allowed to investigate.

The bishop's remarks were made public in January, shortly after Pope Benedict XVI repealed an order made by the previous pope excommunicating Williamson for his rightwing views. Williamson was consecrated a bishop by the pope's Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), an ultraconservative splinter group.

The outcry was immediate, with both Jews and members of the Catholic hierarchy criticising the pope's rehabilitation of a Holocaust-denier. While condemning Williamson's remarks, the Vatican defended its decision, only saying later that it hadn't known about his very public views about the Holocaust.

Williamson has said through his lawyer that he was assured his offending remarks would not be broadcast in Germany but only in Sweden, where there is no law against Holocaust denial. A Munich newspaper, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung, said prosecutors had received a letter from the Swedish television producers in which they denied offering any assurance to Williamson that the interview, conducted in English, would be broadcast in Sweden only.

Williamson's German lawyer, Matthias Lossmann, said his client had been told to pay €100 a day for 120 days, and he was likely to appeal. If he does, there will be a proper trial in Regensburg, which Williamson will not be forced to attend.

Lossmann told Germany's Focus magazine that the fine – imposed under an "order of punishment", a German legal tool that involves no trial but, if accepted by the defendant, is equivalent to a conviction – was too harsh and that the sentencing authorities had been influenced by the publicity surrounding the case. German law allows a maximum sentence of five years in prison for belittling or denying the Holocaust.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A Louisville man is behind bars facing a long list of charges after police say he dragged an officer with his car.

34-year-old Byron Blake is charged with attempted murder, assault, DUI and fleeing police, among other charges.

Police say they tried to stop Blake on 7th Street Road and that while stopped Blake refused to exit the vehicle and the officer reached over to remove the keys from the ignition.

That's when Blake allegedly took off and the officer was dragged for about ten feet and the officer was hospitalized.

Blake then continued through a chain link fence and came to a rest in a nearby yard and then fled on foot.

He was arrested after a short struggle with a different officer.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Police say a New Albany, Indiana man struck four pedestrians on Baxter Avenue and walked away from the scene.

Police have charged 30-year-old Brian Tindall with DUI, assault and reckless driving.

Police say early Sunday morning they responded to the 900 block of Baxter Avenue and spotted Tindall walking away from the scene.

Four pedestrians were struck and had serious injuries from broken bones to head injuries.

A witness says he saw Tindall hit the pedestrians.

When Tindall was arrested police say he admitted to having three beers and a shot of alcohol.

(WHAS11) A man who pretended to be a taxi driver, abducting and assaulting women in the Highlands, will now spend 52 years in prison.

Martin Phillip Jackson was found guilty of kidnapping, assault, fleeing police and operating a taxi without a license.

In May 2007, Jackson abducted and beat up a woman. It happened on Bardstown Road near Akiko’s Karaoke Bar. The prosecutor says Jackson targeted women in their 20’s in the Highlands neighborhood.

Prosecuting attorney Ryane Conroy said, “Obviously, it goes without saying, it’s been traumatic for the victims. Having this sentence imposed helps them move on and we’re glad to be part of that process.”

Prosecutors dismissed a separate case against Jackson from January 2007. That one happened near Flannagan’s Restaurant in the Highlands; where he was also posing as a taxi driver. The commonwealth didn’t want to create undue mental stress on that victim with a possible trial.

But finally, the prosecutor said, there is justice. Jackson could be eligible for parole in about 20 years.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A University of Louisville engineering student is behind bars after an alleged carjacking in broad daylight Thursday afternoon.

Maytham Khamees, 24, is charged with assault and robbery, after police say he attacked a 51-year-old woman on campus when she asked him for directions.

The woman, who didn't want to be identified, says that she was coming from Indiana to a Christian Women's Conference called AGLOW when she got lost.

She exited I-65 on Arthur Street and drove to Floyd Street, where she pulled over and asked the man for directions. She says she rolled down her window and he leaned in the car, but she didn't realize he was searching for her car door handle.

"I didn't think twice about it," she says. "It was the middle of the afternoon and there were plenty of people around."

She says he quickly jumped in her passenger seat and told her to take him with her. She says she screamed, "Get out of my car! Get out of my car!" and honked the horn to draw attention to her. She says that's when he assaulted her.

She says he beat her head against the steering wheel multiple times. She fought with him, but he eventually pushed her out of the driver's side and took off in the car, dragging her several feet.

When he rounded a corner, police say two tires blew and he took off on foot. Police say they found Khamees under the Warnock and Arthur I-65 overpass.

Police say Khamees confessed to the crime. At his arraignment Friday, he pleaded not guilty. He is being held in jail on a $10,000 bond. He's scheduled to be in court November 2nd.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has openly voiced the Israeli government's plans to expel indigenous Palestinian Arabs from their occupied lands.

Netanyahu stressed that Palestinians should recognize Israel as a Jewish state in order to end their conflict.

"That's right," Netanyahu told The Washington Post when asked if such recognition was needed.

"Israel is not a bi-national state," AFP quoted Netanyahu as saying on Saturday. "It has non-Jews who live here with full, equal rights, but it has two things that assure its special character."

"It's the homeland of any Jew. And there is a very broad consensus in Israel that the Palestinian refugee problem should be resolved outside Israel's borders," he added.

Israel declared its independence 61 years ago, by binging pro-Zionist Jews from across the world to the occupied Palestinian lands and forcing the indigenous inhabitants out to form a country.

Netanyahu said Palestinians will have to make a final peace deal with "the Jewish state of Israel."

"Jews come here and Palestinians will go there. So choose. That's the basis of a solution," Netanyahu concluded.

The Reality Behind the Peace-Prize President

War Is Peace. Ignorance Is Strength

Barack Obama, winner of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize, is planning another war to add to his impressive record. In Afghanistan, his agents routinely extinguish wedding parties, farmers and construction workers with weapons such as the innovative Hellfire missile, which sucks the air out of your lungs. According to the UN, 338,000 Afghan infants are dying under the Obama-led alliance, which permits only $29 per head annually to be spent on medical care.

Within weeks of his inauguration, Obama started a new war in Pakistan, causing more than a million people to flee their homes. In threatening Iran – which his secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, said she was prepared to "obliterate" – Obama lied that the Iranians were covering up a "secret nuclear facility," knowing that it had already been reported to the International Atomic Energy Authority. In colluding with the only nuclear-armed power in the Middle East, he bribed the Palestinian Authority to suppress a UN judgment that Israel had committed crimes against humanity in its assault on Gaza – crimes made possible with US weapons whose shipment Obama secretly approved before his inauguration.

At home, the man of peace has approved a military budget exceeding that of any year since the end of the Second World War while presiding over a new kind of domestic repression. During the recent G20 meeting in Pittsburgh, hosted by Obama, militarized police attacked peaceful protesters with something called the Long-Range Acoustic Device, not seen before on US streets. Mounted in the turret of a small tank, it blasted a piercing noise as tear gas and pepper gas were fired indiscriminately. It is part of a new arsenal of "crowd-control munitions" supplied by military contractors such as Raytheon. In Obama’s Pentagon-controlled "national security state," the concentration camp at Guantanamo Bay, which he promised to close, remains open, and "rendition," secret assassinations and torture continue.

The Nobel Peace Prize–winner’s latest war is largely secret. On 15 July, Washington finalized a deal with Colombia that gives the US seven giant military bases. "The idea," reported the Associated Press, "is to make Colombia a regional hub for Pentagon operations . . . nearly half the continent can be covered by a C-17 [military transport] without refueling," which "helps achieve the regional engagement strategy."

Translated, this means Obama is planning a "rollback" of the independence and democracy that the people of Bolivia, Venezuela, Ecuador and Paraguay have achieved against the odds, along with a historic regional cooperation that rejects the notion of a US "sphere of influence." The Colombian regime, which backs death squads and has the continent’s worst human rights record, has received US military support second in scale only to Israel. Britain provides military training. Guided by US military satellites, Colombian paramilitaries now infiltrate Venezuela with the goal of overthrowing the democratic government of Hugo Chávez, which George W Bush failed to do in 2002.

Obama’s war on peace and democracy in Latin America follows a style he has demonstrated since the coup against the democratic president of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya, in June. Zelaya had increased the minimum wage, granted subsidies to small farmers, cut back interest rates and reduced poverty. He planned to break a US pharmaceutical monopoly and manufacture cheap generic drugs. Although Obama has called for Zelaya’s reinstatement, he refuses to condemn the coup-makers and to recall the US ambassador or the US troops who train the Honduran forces determined to crush a popular resistance. Zelaya has been repeatedly refused a meeting with Obama, who has approved an IMF loan of $164m to the illegal regime. The message is clear and familiar: thugs can act with impunity on behalf of the US.

Obama, the smooth operator from Chicago via Harvard, was enlisted to restore what he calls "leadership" throughout the world. The Nobel Prize committee’s decision is the kind of cloying reverse racism that has beatified the man for no reason other than he is a member of a minority and attractive to liberal sensibilities, if not to the Afghan children he kills. This is the Call of Obama. It is not unlike a dog whistle: inaudible to most, irresistible to the besotted and boneheaded. "When Obama walks into a room," gushed George Clooney, "you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere."

The great voice of black liberation Frantz Fanon understood this. In The Wretched of the Earth, he described the "intermediary [whose] mission has nothing to do with transforming the nation: it consists, prosaically, of being the transmission line between the nation and a capitalism, rampant though camouflaged." Because political debate has become so debased in our media monoculture – Blair or Brown; Brown or Cameron – race, gender and class can be used as seductive tools of propaganda and diversion. In Obama’s case, what matters, as Fanon pointed out in an earlier era, is not the intermediary’s "historic" elevation, but the class he serves. After all, Bush’s inner circle was probably the most multiracial in presidential history. There was Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, Clarence Thomas, all dutifully serving an extreme and dangerous power.

Britain has seen its own Obama-like mysticism. The day after Blair was elected in 1997, the Observer predicted that he would create "new worldwide rules on human rights" while the Guardian rejoiced at the "breathless pace [as] the floodgates of change burst open." When Obama was elected last November, Denis MacShane MP, a devotee of Blair’s bloodbaths, unwittingly warned us: "I shut my eyes when I listen to this guy and it could be Tony. He is doing the same thing that we did in 1997."

Residents of Kenya want Barack Obama to return to their country and to rule over them.

“We need an Obama here in Africa,” grumbled Humphrey Oguto, a 27-year-old engineer. “He’s done a lot in just a little time … Our leaders have done nothing for years.”

Photographs of the US President are omnipresent in huts, shantys, marketplaces, and businesses throughout the country. His image has also been plastered on buses and minibuses, known as matatus, in Nairobi, Mombassa, and other cities throughout the country.

Most Kenyans believe that Mr. Obama was born in their country and has more in common with them than with the American people.

Obamamania in this Third World African country reached fever pitch when the Norwegian Nobel Committee’s awarded their Peace Prize to the fledgling U. S. President for “his initiatives to reduce nuclear arms and defuse tensions through diplomacy.”

“When I heard it [the announcement of the award] on the radio I said ‘Hallelujah!’ ” says 65-year-old James Andaro. “It’s God’s blessing, this win is for Africa.”

In the Kenyan city of Kisumu, the capital of the home province of Mr. Obama’s father, radio shows interrupted broadcasting to have live phone-ins so callers could congratulate the president on his win. Many callers claimed that the President had been born in their city of 273,400 people and not Honoloulu, Hawaii.

This claim was supported by Sarah Onyango, the President’s step-grandmother, who resides in a small house in Kisumu, adorned by a make-shift altar to her step-grandson.

Granny Sarah insists that she and other members of her family were present in the delivery room when Mr. Obama was born in Kenya..

She further insists that the US President inherited the combative spirit of her husband Onyango Obama and her stepson Barack Obama Sr. Onyango Obama spent several years in prison for his involvement with the Kikuyu Central Association (KCA), a radical organization that sought to drive the British settlers from Kenya by violence. Many members of the Association became leaders of the Mau Mau Movement that spread terror throughout Kenya during the 1950s.

Members of the KCA were obliged to take an oath to fight and defend themselves against all white colonists and Western European intruders. The oath included animal sacrifice and the ingestion of blood. The ritual reportedly also included cannibalism, ritual zoophilia with goats and other animals, and sexual orgies.

Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki issued this statement of congratulations to the U.S. leader for capturing the Nobel Prize: “I have no doubt that this award will give new impetus to your efforts to bring about lasting peace in areas where war has ravaged communities over long periods of time. I also encourage you to continue opening the avenues of dialogue in order to bring about a better understanding among the family of nations.”

Mr. Obama has not visited his Kenya since his inauguration amid concerns over poor governance in the African country. More than 1,000 people were killed in riots that followed Mr. Kibaki’s narrow re-election in 2007. Observers described the polls as deeply flawed.

Nigger School custodian arrested for selling cocaine

School custodian arrested for selling cocaine on school property

(WHAS11) - A custodian, who worked at a Floyd County Middle School for 20 years, has been arrested in an undercover sting, and is accused of dealing cocaine on school property. 47-year old Victor Cousins was arrested at Scribner Junior High school in New Albany. Cousins is charged with dealing cocaine and resisting police.

Police say they don’t believe Cousins was selling cocaine to students, but that he was selling on the school campus. New Albany Police conducted the undercover operation and also arrested another person. After Cousins was arrested, the school district fired him.

The other man arrested was 45-year-old Marshall Ellis, and is also charged with dealing in cocaine. Police say the resisting charge for Cousins was because he took off running when officers tried to arrest him.

(WHAS11) - Two University of Louisville basketball players spent Saturday night in a southern Indiana jail.

The star players from the hoops team got involved in a fight after a party and now fans await word of what their punishment will be.

The university does not have much to say about what happened and neither do Jeffersonville police.

Terrence Jennings and Jerry Smith only face misdemeanor charges but their arrests could still have a big impact on the team because both are projected starters this season.

Crews at Kye's in Jeffersonville cleaned up after Saturday night's big party that left the University of Louisville with some cleaning up of its own to do.

Two star U of L basketball players wound up in jail after their night at Kye's for a university alumni event.

Jeffersonville police locked up 20-year-old Terrence Jennings and 22-year-old Jerry Smith on charges of resisting arrest.

Internet reports say Jennings had been involved in a fight at Kye's then Smith intervened while officers tried to break up the fight and both ended up in handcuffs. It's not welcome news for Cards fans.

"It kind of sucks to hear around this time right before basketball season because these are two real important players to us, somebody I looked forward to seeing play this year, but stuff happens," said U of L student David Feldhaus.

U of L fan Toby Farris said, “I hope it doesn't affect us too much. Jennings is a very nice player, and Jerry Smith of course is one of our leading front men."

U of L's only statement came from coach Rick Pitino who said, “we are aware of the matter and it will be handled internally."

"I would believe that's just something to keep people from prying too hard and trying to find- well, he's trying to keep his players safe too. That's another one of his responsibilities to help keep them out of the limelight as much as possible- even when they get in trouble," said Farris.

"I think they're grown men and they'll learn from their mistakes and they'll be back in time for the season starts to make better decisions," said Feldhaus.

WHAS11 couldn't reach management at Kye's for comment on what happened but we did talk to Sports Information Director Kenny Klein.

He told us the team did have work-outs this afternoon but would not say whether or not Jennings and Smith were there.

Klein also would not confirm if the men will play in the upcoming scrimmage or if they will miss any games at all as punishment for the arrest.

Metro Animal Services rescues 48 animals from Louisville apartment

(WHAS11) - There is new information about a woman who animal control says hoarded dozens of cats in her small apartment.

47 cats and a dog were seized after animal control found deplorable conditions inside the residence.

The woman, who has been identified as Lynn Jackson, has been known as an animal hoarder for at least the past seven years.

Family members say she suffers from mental illness that has been incredibly debilitating.

They say they just want their loved one to get help before the problem gets worse.

Most of the cats inside Lynn Jackson's apartment are gone after being seized by Jefferson County animal control officers Tuesday, but there are still five in the apartment.

Tina Munoz says the cats have overrun the neighborhood.

She says the smell is so awful it is noticed by anyone in the area.

Maintenance supervisor Andre Figueroa recently had to do repair work in Jackson's apartment.

“It looked like a zoo. I kept tripping over them when I was walking,” he says.

Neighbors tell WHAS11 News that Jackson would go to a Dollar General store in the neighborhood and purchase about $150 worth of cat food once a month, without buying any food for herself.

Arrest reports indicate that since 2002, Jackson has been charged at least four times for hording behavior in the same apartment.

In one case, Animal Control officers say 20 cats were living in the two bedroom unit.

Most of the reports describe excessive waste matter covering nearly every surface.

Jackson's relatives say she was hospitalized when the animals were seized for a staph infection.

They say she's now undergoing mental evaluation and they hope she can get the help they say she needs before Jackson starts repopulating her small apartment with cats again.

Relatives tell WHAS11 News that Jackson's apartment is a Section 8 residence, so somehow she's been able to pass annual government inspections while hoarding dozens of cats.

The seized cats are being held at metro animal services while the case remains under investigation.

(WHAS11) - More cold cases are being solved, thanks to new technology and local detectives pounding the pavement.

Since receiving a $423,000 grant from the National Institute of Justice, cold cases are getting closed regularly. Police say they've solved three more sexual assaults involving one suspect. That brings the number of closed cold cases to more than 20 this year.



After two decades, police say 43-year-old Lonnie Roberson has been brought to justice, thanks to a DNA match and a lot of detective work.



The first case, from 1989, involved a 22-year-old woman allegedly abducted from a west end bus stop, driven to a house, then raped and sodomized at knifepoint.



The second victim was 29-years-old. She was allegedly picked up on Jefferson Street and raped in a nearby alley back in 1999.



The third alleged crime happened in 2001. Police say Roberson displayed a knife and gun when forcing a 19-year-old woman into his car, then assaulting her.



So far, police say they've solved 20 rape cases and one murder with the grant.



They also say they believe Roberson may be involved with other sexual assaults.

Two Niggers facing charges after fire at Moore High School

(WHAS11) - Two students were are facing charges after police say they set a fire that caused Louisville’s Moore High School to be evacuated.

Darrell Britt, 20, and a juvenile are charged with arson, accused of intentionally setting a fire in a bathroom.

School was in session when the fire started and the building was evacuated as a precaution.

The police report says Britt told investigators the juvenile is the one who set the fire.
